The title says it all. I have some news for everyone on here regarding my extended absence and a few other thoughts: 1. Life has been super crazy (I'm sure it has been for everyone, especially if you have been keeping up with the news, ugh.). I am an official healthcare worker, so I have been busy. Unfortunately, my unit in the hospital is the only unit, alongside the emergency department, who is taking COVID-19 patients. It scares me often, even when we have the proper protective equipment. The work associated with these patients is often heavy and very time consuming, as they are extremely ill and can hardly stand without feeling short of breath. At the end of the day, your face has impressions of the N95 masks, you're exhausted, and when you need family the most, you can't exactly come into contact for a much needed hug. So long story short, even on my days off I am resting and spending time with family, although socially distancing by being six feet apart. I am still getting used
